The Hub Site: Basic Information
Southeast Community College's portal for all computer resources is "The Hub" and can be found at the following - https://thehub.southeast.edu. You can log on to The Hub from school or at home. You will need your SCC username and password in order to log on.
Username = First Name Initial + Last Name Initial +
SCC ID Number (without leading zeros).
For example, Pat Moodle's college ID number is 0123456, so her username
= pm123456.
- Don't know your ID number? Go do https://resetpw.southeast.edu/?ref=getidnumber to find it.
- Your username will remain constant from your intial enrollment and will NOT change if you change your name.
Password = created by you.
- If you are new to SCC and have not created a password yet, go to https://resetpw.southeast.edu/ to reset your password.
- You'll enter your SCC ID number, your personal email address (must match what you included on your application for admission), and the security code that is shown.
- This sends a password reset link to your personal email address. Go to that email message and click the link to be taken to a page to set your password.
When using a computer at an SCC campus location, you will need to log on to the computer itself. Logging on to the computer on campus will also automatically log you on to The Hub; a second log in will not be necessary. From home or off-campus, you will always have to log in to The Hub site.
It is very imporant for you to remember to log off of The Hub when you are done off-campus and log off of the entire computer when on campus. If you are on campus and need to step away from your computer briefly, you can lock your computer by holding the Windows key and then press the L key (Windows + L). Then you will need to enter your password to unlock the computer.
