Practice Moodle Orientation Course
A course has been set up in Moodle to allow students to practice navigating Moodle and also to become comfortable with some of the Moodle activities and resources. There is no cost and all activities are optional. This site can be accessed as soon as your registration is processed for any course at SCC. You do not have to wait for the quarter to start to review this practice course. If you are new to Moodle, it is recommended that you access this practice Moodle orientation course prior to the start of the quarter, so you are ready for your actual class when the quarter begins. Be sure to read through all of the materials presented in this orientation website first.
To enroll in the practice Moodle orientation course, click the link below. You will be prompted to enter an enrollment key which is also shown below.

The enrollment screen will look similar to the image below after you click the link above. Type the enrollment key in the box provided. You can click the "Unmask" box if you need to see what you are typing; otherwise, it will appear like a password and the characters will be hidden. Click the [Enroll me] button when you are done.
The "Moodle Orientation for Students" course should display. Read the information at the top and then work through the course materials from top to bottom. There are instructions in the Moodle course for how to unenroll once you are done.
